Job summary

Puro Associates in Dewsbury is seeking a Criminal Law Paralegal / Junior Fee Earner to support a busy criminal defence team. You will assist with a varied caseload, attend police stations when appropriate, and help prepare case files from instruction through to conclusion.

• Previous experience within Criminal Law.
• Experience as Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Junior Fee Earner.
• Some experience of police station attendance would be highly advantageous.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A genuine interest in developing a career within Criminal Law.
• The ability to work independently while also supporting the wider team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with a range of criminal defence matters.
• Attending police stations to assist and represent clients where appropriate.

Puro Associates are working with an established law firm in Dewsbury that is looking to appoint a Criminal Law Paralegal / Junior Fee Earner to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous Criminal Law experience who is looking to develop their knowledge, gain further hands‑on experience and build a long‑term career within Criminal Law.
