Job description

You will be working in a unique ex-offender community hub that provides a safe space for ex-offenders to meet, receive support, and access various facilities including:

• An onsite gym
• Music studios
• Wellness rooms
• Arts and crafts areas
• Weekly doughnut and debate clubs where support workers discuss current topics over doughnuts
• Cooked breakfasts throughout the week involving clients

This environment offers an excellent setting for supporting clients. Your role will involve managing a caseload through one-to-one sessions, assisting with housing and benefits, registering with GPs and dentists, finding training courses, providing light employment support, and helping develop life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and wellness.

The project exemplifies effective rehabilitation. Ideal candidates may have experience in criminal justice roles such as prison officer, resettlement officer, or probation officer, or in supporting roles like project worker, support worker, hostel worker, employment advisor, careers advisor, job coach, or recruitment consultant.
