Job Description:

Working as a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker, you will provide community support and outreach services to individuals facing substance misuse.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing effective professional relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with prison teams and prescribers to ensure a smooth transition into the community for offenders.
  • Delivering criminal justice interventions.
  • Promoting harm reduction through flexible working.
  • Maintaining accurate client management records.
  • Recognising personal and professional boundaries.
  • Delivering recovery-focused group programs and one-to-one sessions.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable individuals.
  • Knowledge of Criminal Justice services and interventions.
  • Understanding of issues faced by substance misusers.
  • Full driving license or willingness to commute.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or willingness to obtain one.
