Job description

Job Details: Criminal Justice Recovery Worker

Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities, through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support.

We have almost 200 services around England – and nearly 3,500 amazing staff and volunteers who run them. Every year our services support around 125,000 people.

Location: The Claverings Industrial Estate, London, N9 0AH

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our newly established Criminal Justice Team. Our aim is to develop and strengthen our existing Criminal Justice pathways into drug and alcohol treatment for individuals with complex needs.

You will be an integral member of our dynamic treatment team working closely with the team leaders and managers across the partnership, providing support for a range of complex needs including drug and alcohol use, facilitating access to treatment and support for themselves and their families.

You will be providing targeted support, from brief interventions through to structured treatment, ensuring that every recovery journey is tailored to individual priorities. We take a “whole person” holistic approach, offering advice, support, and practical assistance to ensure that every individual’s package of care encompasses all areas of their well-being, not just their substance use, to achieve the best possible outcomes for every person.

If you are looking for a role where you can develop your existing skills and learn something new every day or you have relevant experience and/or are a graduate in the field of Health, Social Care, and the Social Sciences, we'd love to hear from you.

What can Waythrough offer you…

  • Annual leave purchase scheme
  • Enhanced occupational sick pay
  • Enhanced employer contribution to your workplace pension
