Job summary

Change Grow Live seeks a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker in Liverpool to assess and engage service users within the Criminal Justice System, ensuring timely access to intervention and care tailored to individual needs.

You will work with partners, complete court reports, and support ATR/DRR orders, with DBS clearance and MOJ vetting required. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) with salary in the CGL points 23–28 range.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex barriers to success.
• Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System and interventions to reduce drug-related crime.
• Collaboration with Criminal Justice Partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Partnership Working: Collaborate with HM Probation Service, Court Services, and CJ partners.
• Assessment: Conduct suitability assessments for ATR/DRR Orders and personalised assessments for treatment entry.
• Court Support: Prepare court reports and provide training to Magistrates on CHART and ATR/DRR orders.
• Continuity of Care: Liaise with the Community Criminal Justice team for ongoing care.
• Monitoring: Track court outcomes and relay information to wider teams.
• Interventions: Support wider CJ team with interventions such as conditional cautions.
