Overview

Scale Lane are hiring a proficient Criminal Duty Solicitor on behalf of an accomplished multi-discipline firm with several offices in Brighton and across the local region.

This well-established firm was formed almost 25 year ago and has continually grown in terms of size and prestige and pride themselves on their excellent reputation, consistently high results, and the exceptional quality given to every one of their clients.

Responsibilities

As a criminal duty solicitor, you will join the expanding criminal law department at their largest office in Brighton and will undertake a varied workload which includes attending police stations during normal working hours as well as part of an out of hours rota, attending magistrates courts, and be capable of crown court preparation.

You will offer exception service to clients and be capable of working at all levels, have excellent coordination and administration skills, supervise staff as required, and expect to be challenged with complex legal work.

Qualifications

• You will be a Criminal Solicitor of 1+ PQE
• Duty Accredited
• Excellent standards of work, client care, and IT/admin
