OVERVIEW:
• We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join a dynamic team, providing essential support to solicitors in a broad range of criminal defence matters
• The role offers the chance to work on prosecution cases for regulatory bodies and local authorities
• You will provide vital support to the firm’s solicitors, assisting with the full lifecycle of general criminal defence cases and assisting with prosecution work – prior experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
• Key responsibilities include drafting legal documents, liaising with clients, conducting legal research, preparing court bundles, and attending client meetings and hearings
• Office-based role with a collaborative and supportive team environment
• Excellent career progression opportunities, including the potential to secure a training contract and pursue further legal qualifications
• Paralegals with police station accreditation are strongly encouraged to apply
• Support will be provided for those wishing to obtain accreditation
