We are seeki ng a highly organised Criminal Secretary to join our growing Crime Team . In this role, you will provide essential support to our fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of cases by:

  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Taking initial instructions and client statements
  • Managing dictations and preparing accurate transcriptions
  • Collating and organising court bundles
  • Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Providing reception cover as needed

This is a fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a proactive approach.

About You

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
  • Strong communication and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • A flexible approach, including a willingness to take on a variety of tasks and work outside core hours if required
