Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday.

Location: Hybrid remote working, with 3 days a week in our VHQ, Crawley based on operational requirements.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract Secondment (12 months)

In a nutshell

Are you ready to elevate our operations with data-driven decisions? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Analyst - Crew Logistics to join our team. You will design and deliver crew performance metrics and reporting, while leading the charge in automating data processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness. In this role, you will own data projects from start to finish, ensuring robust, scalable, and insightful reporting that drives continuous improvement across Crew Logistics.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate and engage with our internal stakeholders such as Commercial, Training, Cabin and Flight Crew Management, and regularly present strategic insights to senior leaders to keep our crew flying high.

Day to day

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Design and implement pilot and cabin crew performance metrics to provide insight into productivity, bid satisfaction, production quality, and overall establishment efficiency.
  • Develop and communicate explanations, summaries and performance indicators for workforce planning requirement levels based on productivity, aircraft utilisation and flying hours, training demand and cost.
  • Support development of performance metrics for trip pairing and leave optimisation, improving visibility of trends and enabling proactive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations and Commercial to influence and align long- and mid-term plans based on establishment needs and constraints.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of analysts, with a focus on upskilling in Power BI and the Microsoft stack.


About you

The skills and experience we are looking for you to bring are:

  • Highly proficient in Power BI/ Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience as an Analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to provide insights.
  • Demonstrable experience of engaging with and managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience of leading and motivating a team.
  • Ideally, a background in Aviation (preferred).
