Job Description:

The Motorsport Competence Group is looking for motivated and flexible crew chief (m/w/d)at our headquarters in St. Ingbert / Germany.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the technical readiness of the vehicles during test and race events
  • Ensuring identical and fault-free build quality of the various vehicles
  • Structuring and prioritizing tasks in the workshop
  • Responsibility for order, cleanliness, and process reliability in the workshop
  • Coordination of the mechanic team on-site and at events
  • Interface to other departments – Close collaboration and communication, especially with engineering and management
  • Ensuring compliance with all technical regulations (e.g., DMSB, FIA)
  • Support in the strategic planning of pit stops and race decisions
  • Quality control as well as analysis and documentation of technical issues
  • Process optimization

Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will have a broad motorsport mechanical background. At minimum 7 years professional experience in GT3, F1, FE, LMDH, WEC or DTM is vital
  • Experience of always delivering quality race cars to extremely tight and demanding deadlines with conflicting priorities
  • The ability to consistently work to the highest standards with an exceptional attitude towards attention to detail
  • You must be able to take responsibility for the performance and coordination of a team as Crew Chief, working closely with all team members while thriving in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
  • High willingness to travel, flexible attitude to working hours including working at weekends
  • German language would be beneficial, good English language is essential
