Job description

Crematorium Administrator & Receptionist needed in Godalming, £15ph

PAYE – Reference: 5266667

Working hours: Mon to Thurs 8.30am to 5pm & Fri 8.30am to 4.30pm

Location: Fully office-based at the Crematorium

Responsibilities:
  1. Input of legal and medical papers related to cremation bookings
  2. Handle telephone and reception duties
  3. Provide general support to the team, including data entry, filing, record keeping, scanning, and booking appointments
  4. Process requests for webcasts and tributes, and allocate finance accordingly
  5. Communicate with the coroner’s office, medical practices, and funeral directors to resolve issues with medical and legal papers and appointments
  6. Assist funeral directors and families in collecting memorials, ashes, and paperwork
  7. Adapt to changing demands and priorities within the role

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
