Job Description:

Our client, a credit hedge fund, are looking to add a talented credit trader to their investment team in London. This role will see the incoming individual trade across the credit spectrum from investment grade credit through to stressed and event-driven names.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience in trading across the credit space on either the buy side or sell side.

The role will require the individual to demonstrate the following skills:

• Proven ability to execute trade across the global credit spectrum - cash, CDS, etc.
• Experience trading investment grade and high yield credit, with further exposure to event-driven/stressed names
• Ability to communicate and develop relationships with professionals in the market across sell side trading desks
• Collaboration with internal teams across portfolio management and investment analysts

Our client would be keen to meet with candidates at VP or Director-level of buy side credit trading experience, however, are keen not to exclude candidates that may be able to demonstrate these skills from backgrounds including those in leveraged credit trading or sales desk roles.
