Job Description:

Hays is partnered with a UK leading legal organisation, seeking a talented Credit Specialist to join their dynamic Finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and minimise aged debt, focusing on debt over 90 days.
• Prioritise workload within a medium-sized team and collaborate with other departments.
• Work closely with Billing and Cashiers teams.
• Provide accurate advice on billing queries and handle account reconciliations.
• Maintain records of chasing activity and distribute monthly reports.
• Attend regular meetings with Fee Earners to manage and reduce debts.
• Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

What you’ll need:

• Wide-ranging experience handling a large volume of invoices.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Natural initiative and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Confident, positive attitude.
• Attention to detail and aptitude for reconciliations.
• Strong organisational and negotiation skills, including proficiency in Excel.
