Morgan McKinley is seeking a VP Credit Risk Technology professional in London to lead C# / .NET / SQL initiatives within a global investment bank. You will shape risk technology platforms, engage with senior stakeholders and drive migration and modernization across risk data and processes.

The role is based in Central London with three days in the office, offering a clear progression path toward Architecture and Technical Team Leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within Credit Risk or Counterparty Credit Risk.
• Understanding of credit exposure, limits, collateral, credit calculations, risk analytics.
• Experience building technology for a Risk function.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to operate at VP level.
• Exposure to S&P, RiskMetrics or other third-party Credit Risk platforms.
• Experience with migration / transformation programmes is useful.
• Practical exposure to AI-assisted development is a plus.

• Building and enhancing Credit Risk technology platforms.

• SQL, data processing, feeds and batch infrastructure.
• Credit Risk analytics, modelling and risk calculations.
• Counterparty / Credit Risk technology and related risk data.
• Large-scale migration and transformation programmes.
• Consolidation and integration of third-party risk platforms.
• Replacement / modernisation of legacy risk technology.
• New entities, feeds, data pipelines and business processes.
• Increasing use of AI-assisted engineering and tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Working closely with Risk, Technology and senior stakeholders.
