Job summary

Harnham is partnering with a mission-driven fintech lender to lead the credit function and shape portfolio performance.

As Credit Risk Manager you will develop portfolio strategies, monitor risk, influence lending policies, and collaborate with data, product and technology teams to implement analytics and decisioning solutions.

You will also drive collections and recovery improvements across the customer lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in credit risk strategy, portfolio management or lending policy within financial services or fintech.
• Strong quantitative background with a degree in a STEM-related subject such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a similar field.
• Proficiency in Python for analytics, modelling and data-driven decision making.
• Experience working with credit risk analytics, portfolio performance monitoring and forecasting techniques.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Developing and refining portfolio management and credit risk strategies.
• Monitoring portfolio performance, identifying trends and recommending strategic actions.
• Supporting the development and enhancement of lending policies and risk frameworks.
