Job summary

You will analyze credit-worthiness and support SOx-compliant reporting while learning how a global industrial leader operates. This twelve-month placement runs Summer 2027, targeting students studying Accounting and Finance, Economics, or Business who are eager to develop analytical and Excel skills in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics or Business discipline.
• Fast learner and willing to take on new challenges, great attention to detail.
• Strong team-work skills, great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs credit-worthiness reviews on new and existing accounts, mitigating risk to the business and analyses credit exposures; support for the scoping and completion of improvement projects (including 6 Sigma framework)
• Prepares business unit credit reporting, planning, and forecasting and ensures credit activities are in line with corporate credit policies and are Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) compliant.
• Develops an understanding of trade finance and credit management to support the business, participates in working capital initiatives to drive corporate metrics.
• Active involvement and business partner support, prepares metrics analysis and consolidated credit reporting, as well as ad hoc credit analysis and reports to the business unit.
• Represent the function when required to do so either with other parts of the organization or at various functions or events. support for the scoping and completion of improvement projects (including 6 Sigma framework).
