CREDIT RISK MANAGER/SENIOR MANAGER

£60-85,000 dependent on level

REMOTE (ONCE PER MONTH TRAVEL TO MIDLANDS)

THE COMPANY

This lending business is experiencing rapid growth and has ambitious plans for the coming years. They are seeking an experienced candidate to lead the development of their analytics and strategic direction, offering a chance to make a significant impact in a smaller organization.

THE ROLE
  1. Re-develop and enhance statistical models, particularly scorecards, to gain insights into the customer journey and improve business performance.
  2. Design credit risk strategies and support broader lending strategies, including optimization and analysis.
  3. Provide ad hoc analysis and insights into customer trends, and monitor the ongoing performance of credit strategies and portfolios.
  4. Collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams to communicate improvements and drive impact.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  1. Prior exposure to Credit Bureau data is essential.
  2. Experience with scorecard models is required.
  3. End-to-end scorecard development experience is highly desirable.
  4. Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python, or R is essential.
  5. Previous management experience is required.

  • Base salary: £60-85k depending on level.
