Job summary

Vans, part of VF Corporation, is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to lead the Risk and Data Integrity team in the EMEA region. The role focuses on developing risk strategies, analysing financials, and ensuring data quality across new account openings.

You will guide and mentor team leaders while exploring AI-enabled process improvements. The position offers a hybrid work model with 3 days on site in Calverton, Nottingham, and requires strong stakeholder engagement across finance and business

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop the credit risk strategy and policy, challenging current practices and implementing processes.
  • Analyse customer financial accounts including balance sheet, P&L and cash flow statements, plus stress-testing.
  • Oversee processing and opening of all new accounts for VF's EMEA business with risk analysis and data quality.
  • Conduct regular risk meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including macro-economic data updates.
  • Provide training on systems and risk-related processes to the Credit Department and external stakeholders.
  • Explore new ways of working using AI to automate repetitive tasks.

Salary: From 48K, depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week (between 8am and 4pm) Working style: Hybrid - 3 days per week on site Location: Calverton, Nottingham

As Credit Risk Manager you will be managing the credit risk strategies of VF’s EMEA Credit Department, including the protection of the debtor asset and simultaneously optimising commercial growth. You will provide focus to motivate and develop your team in new and innovative ways of working.

  • Responsible for developing the credit risk strategy and policy, including challenging current practices and implementing processes
  • Ensure the analysis of customer financial accounts including balance sheet, profit and loss statement & cash flow statement, as well as stress-testing the findings
  • Accountable for overseeing the processing and opening of all new accounts for the whole of VF's EMEA business with appropriate risk analysis and data quality
  • Conduct regular risk meetings wither internal- and external stakeholders, including regular updates on macro-economic data
  • Provide specialised training on systems and risk related processes to the Credit Department as well as training to impacted external stakeholders
  • Explore new ways of working using AI with the goal of automating repetitive and time-consuming parts of processes
