We are a financial services company that specialises in fleet management, vehicle leasing and salary packaging, with a presence across Australia, the UK and NZ. A total portfolio under management of $2.5 Billion and over 1200 employees.

AS A CREDIT RISK ANALYST YOU WILL…
Be responsible for ensuring credit is secured for all corporate business, both with an external funding panel &/or via internal risk where the spreading of counterparty financials, conducting of financial analysis on financials is required. Making recommendations based on analysis and prepare write-ups of large credit requests where credit memorandums are to be submitted to the SG Fleet Credit Committee for consideration and decisioning.

The role is part of a team who utilises their credit risk assessment skills and applies well-reasoned credit rationale to recommend credit proposals for approval or otherwise.

YOUR DAYS WILL INVOLVE…

  • Partner and interact daily with the SGF Sales Team to ensure that all credit applications and tasks are decisioned within SG Fleet’s Credit policy
  • Decision Corporate Credit applications within SG Fleet Credit Policy and Delegated Credit Authority limits
  • Renewal of external Funder panel credit lines as per business requirements
  • Understand the key performance areas and the financial implications (profit / loss) of decisions being taken.
  • Play a pivotal role in client reviews & ensuring facilities are in place for their ongoing fleet requirements.
  • Undertake Due Diligence activities on Employers for new Salary Sacrifice schemes, including KYC / AML / Sanctions & PEP Searches and reviews of Financial Statements.
  • Ensure compliance and consistent application of policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Provide support to the Funding & Credit Manager and work with the wider Funding and Credit Team (based in Australia) on an ad-hoc basis.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU…

  • Degree level or equivalent (QBE) in Business related discipline, preferably in asset financing or accounting sector.
  • Experience in reading and analysing corporate financial statements and risk assessments
  • Credit Underwriting Skills and understanding of credit frameworks and policies
  • Experience in KYC / AML
  • Strong technical/numerical skills including critical analysis and problem solving
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for clear and professional communication (verbally & written)
  • Strong adherence to processes
