Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) in Milton Keynes is seeking a Credit Risk Undergraduate to support monitoring and testing of credit risk strategies that protect VWFS against customer non-payment. You will work with reporting, data analysis and committee materials while learning how credit risk impacts the wider business and customer journey.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in progress (preferably Economics or Business), strong Excel skills and numerical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an undergraduate degree, preferably Economics or Business.
• Good Excel knowledge and willingness to learn other data reporting tools.
• Highly numerate with proven mathematical skills and ability to understand the story behind the numbers.
• Interest in Credit and Financial Risk with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce KPIs, executive summary reporting and performance reports for underwriting and committee audiences.
• Support business testing when new or enhanced Credit Risk strategies are implemented.
• Provide Risk support to strategic projects, mainly through testing of new systems and products.
• Carry out ad hoc reporting and analysis for the Credit Risk function and wider business.
• Support investigations into movements in the retail portfolio and monthly credit risk provision.
• Support development of credit scorecards and risk mitigation strategies through data extraction and interrogation.
• Produce minutes for the monthly Credit and Lending Risk Committee.
