About Our Client

West End based global energy company focusing on clean energy.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct and review credit risk evaluations for contract approvals and ongoing monitoring, using qualitative and quantitative analysis examining country, industry, company, and management risk of counterparties.
  • Ensure contractors undergo timely and periodic credit reviews to maintain oversight.
  • Assess rating trends of approved and active contractors to identify potential risks.
  • Prepare and present credit risk reports and presentations for discussion and decision-making in relevant forums.
The Successful Applicant
Required Knowledge & Skills
  • Extensive experience in credit risk, including methodologies, management techniques, and financial analysis, with experience reviewing financial statements.
  • Strong commercial insight, capable of interpreting complex contractual and commercial matters and relating them to credit risk, preferably within construction or supply chain environments.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, scenario planning, stress testing, and forecasting is desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, able to engage diverse audiences, including non-financial stakeholders and senior executives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A degree in business, finance, mathematics, or related fields.
  • Advanced qualifications such as Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, CFA, or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate credit risk assessment.
  • Prior exposure to credit risk mitigation strategies is highly preferred.
