We are happy for you to be based in Bradford, Chatham or Petersfield but please note that occasional travel will be required to our other offices.

Working Pattern: Our working style is hybrid, with 1 to 3 days per week in our offices to promote collaboration.

You and Your Team:

The Credit Risk Analyst will use data-driven insights to develop, implement, and optimise acquisition strategies for VBG.

In your day-to-day role, as a Credit Risk Analyst you will:

  • Support analytical and data-driven projects.
  • Contribute to workflow or process improvements and understand different products and processes.
  • Gather and define requirements for insights and communicate findings to management.
  • Support credit reporting processes, ensuring full documentation.
  • Define data infrastructure requirements for reporting needs.
  • Create management information reports, visual dashboards, and KPIs using Power BI or Excel.

Knowledge and expertise:

  • Strong quantitative skills with credit analytics experience.
  • Understanding of consumer credit, especially in subprime or online lending sectors.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks.
  • Effective planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.

The interview process:

  • Initial 30-minute phone interview with Talent Acquisition.
  • 60-minute competency-based interview with the hiring team.
  • Final interview with Daniel Betts, Head of Credit Risk.

Our process takes up to 4 weeks but is flexible to your availability. You will speak with our recruitment team throughout.
