Company DescriptionJob DescriptionCredit Risk AnalystWe are currently recruiting for a
Credit Risk Analyst to join the Credit Management department in our Ashford office. The role will focus on analysing customer credit applications and performing credit limit reviews daily. You will also liaise with the New Business Team to adopt the most efficient and appropriate way of creating new accounts.
This role is offering flexible hybrid working with 2 days based in our Ashford, Kent office for team collaboration and meetings, so you must be with in a commutable distance.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:- Undertaking Risk Assessment Analysis; obtaining credit reports from Credit Safe assessing customer trade history & ensuring credit is granted in accordance with our risk criteria.
- Reviewing customer accounts & making credit limit/term recommendations to the Management Team
- Ongoing maintenance of customer credit limits and payment terms
- Mitigating potential risks and escalating red flags to key stakeholders
- Monitoring risk trends on behalf of management and sales personnel
- Meeting of departmental SLA's & KPI's.
- Effective & professional handling of customer queries
- Maintain good customer relations, internal and external, embracing the company values.
- Other Ad Hoc duties as requested by Management to support the Credit Management Department
You:The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and have gained exceptional customer service skills in previous roles and be IT Literate in MS Office packages, (SAP experience would be preferred). You will have excellent typing skills and a work to a high level of accuracy when interpreting credit reports. Having an understanding of how to read company accounts/balance sheets is desirable but training will be given to the successful candidate.
