Superb opportunity to join a major US investment firm managing a multi-billion dollar portfolio of assets for their institutional investor base.

They are looking to recruit a Credit Research Associate who will work with successful Portfolio Managers on the analysis of both investment and sub-investment grade debt.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Credit analyst working with senior colleagues on IG and HY debt.
  2. Develop unique research insights to arrive at well-supported investment conclusions.
  3. Independently conduct proprietary credit research based on data gathered from underlying market fundamentals and company filings, attend company management meetings, and utilize additional independent research sources to build investment conviction.
  4. Build multi-year financial models to determine appropriate valuations under various scenarios.
  5. Help to generate investment ideas and provide monitoring of positions across client strategies.
  6. Work closely with colleagues as part of a highly collaborative platform, sharing ideas and offering feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 1-4 years of relevant experience as a Credit Analyst, gained either on the Buy or Sell side with an asset manager, hedge fund, investment bank, private equity, or private credit firm, with a commensurate level of understanding of company financial statements.
