Overview

Our client is a well-established player in the credit and political risk insurance (CPRI) market, with a strong track record of delivering innovative risk transfer solutions to financial institutions, corporates, and investors. Building on this foundation, they are expanding their presence in the trade credit and political risk insurance space and looking to grow their market footprint.

We are seeking a producer with initiative, market credibility, and strong relationships across banks, corporates, and insurers to drive the build-out of our client’s trade credit and political risk insurance offering. The successful candidate will leverage existing networks, originate new business, and help position the firm as a go-to partner for clients seeking coverage against payment default, currency risks, expropriation, political violence, and other trade/PRI exposures.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for trade credit and political risk insurance, aligned with the firm’s broader specialty insurance platform.
  • Originate and structure new client opportunities by leveraging relationships across banks, corporates, multilaterals, and insurers.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of PRI and trade credit business, driving revenue growth.
  • Provide market insights on pricing, capacity, and trends to inform product development.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, panels, and client meetings to raise visibility in the trade/PRI space.
  • Partner with underwriting, legal, and compliance teams to ensure transactions are executed efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
