Job summary

Investec is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join the Credit Origination & Decisioning team in London. You will partner with business stakeholders and tech teams to shape complex solutions, analyse data, and ensure alignment with a cloud-first strategy.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in a complex tech environment.
• Strong SQL to write/interpret complex queries for validation.
• Experience across shared platforms and multiple applications with integrations.
• Ability to work with APIs, JSON payloads and system integrations; ask the right questions.
• Strong data architecture understanding including mappings and lineage.
• Proven collaboration with architects, engineers and QA in agile delivery.
• Experience modelling requirements for scalability, resilience, security and performance.

Responsibilities

• Translate business challenges into clear, technically credible requirements and user stories.
• Participate in discovery, refinement and solution design with stakeholders and tech teams.
• Analyse end-to-end processes, system interactions and dependencies across the credit platform.
• Investigate data, validate requirements and support problem solving using SQL and analytics.
• Document data mappings, interfaces, API behaviours and field relationships.
• Support delivery with engineers and QA, and assist with release readiness and post-implementation work.
• Maintain delivery visibility with agile tooling and end-to-end lifecycle tracking.
