Job summary

HarKaye Core Talent is partnering with a well-respected claimant law firm to recruit an experienced Credit Hire Litigator to join their expanding litigation team in the North West. You will manage a varied caseload from issue to conclusion in a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in litigated Credit Hire matters, strong CPR knowledge and excellent negotiation skills, with clear progression opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience handling litigated Credit Hire claims.
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload.
• Strong understanding of CPR, litigation procedures and Credit Hire case law.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proactive, organised and commercially minded approach.
• Passion for delivering exceptional client service.
• Qualified Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives and experienced Fee Earners are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own litigated Credit Hire caseload.
• Handling liability-disputed matters through the litigation process.
• Preparing matters for trial where required.
• Negotiating settlements to achieve the best possible outcomes. Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules and court deadlines.
• Maintaining excellent client care throughout the life of each claim.

Due to continued expansion, we're looking to speak with experienced Credit Hire Litigators and Fee Earners who are looking to join a well-established team handling quality work, with genuine opportunities for progression.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys running their own caseload while working within a supportive, collaborative environment.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of litigated Credit Hire matters from issue through to conclusion, working on a mix of fast-track and multi-track claims.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own litigated Credit Hire caseload.
• Handling liability-disputed matters through the litigation process.
• Preparing matters for trial where required.
