Salary: £35,000 OTE (70% basic, 30% performance-based bonus)

Are you a Credit Controller with a passion for managing corporate accounts and navigating complex systems? Join a leading player in the electronics sector and take your career to the next level.Based in Stevenage.we're looking for a confident and experienced Credit Controller to join a finance team and help maintain strong cash flow and client relationships.
What you'll be doing:

  • Reviewing and verifying customer credit data to establish or update credit limits, using credit agencies and working within company SLAs
  • Managing invoice disputes to ensure prompt resolution and payment or issuing credits where appropriate
  • Monitoring aged debt, chasing overdue payments, placing accounts on hold, and agreeing payment plans
  • Following up on payment arrangements and recommending escalation to external collection agencies when necessary
  • Keeping accurate records of credit risks and files
  • Handling both domestic and export customers
  • Performing additional duties as required to support the credit control function

Must haves:

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with SAP systems
  • Commercial Credit Control environments
  • Proven track record in credit control within a larger organisation
  • Solid exposure to corporate accounts and high-volume transactions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
