Job description

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new challenge? Do you have excellent communication and negotiation skills?

If you answered yes to these questions, then I have an exciting opportunity for you. Agility Resourcing are currently looking for a credit controller for one of our valued clients based in Preston.

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit control function for the Preston business unit, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, resolving queries and disputes, and maintaining good relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. You will also be involved in producing reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance team with other tasks as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar credit control role, preferably in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • A confident and professional telephone manner, with the ability to deal with customers at all levels
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A keen attention to detail, accuracy, and organisation skills
  • A positive and flexible attitude, with the willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs
