Credit Controller – Swedish, Finnish, or Norwegian Speaking
From £25,000
Nottingham/ Hybrid - 2 days in office per week
Monday - Friday 8 am – 4 pm, 45 mins lunch
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Controller for an expanding organization. Credit control experience is desirable but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Fluency in English plus one of the following languages is required: Swedish, Finnish, or Norwegian.

What will the role involve?

• Chasing aged debts and handling customer service queries
• Assessing and managing credit risk for assigned accounts
• Maintaining accurate and current customer accounts
• Ensuring efficient order release to maximize sales while adhering to credit policies
• Collecting and analyzing financial data to set credit limits for new and existing customers
• Managing customer database, including setting up and updating accounts
• Ensuring correct allocation of cash, invoices, credit notes, and journals for account reconciliation
• Communicating regularly with customers and internal teams to resolve queries
• Ensuring timely cash collection and reconciliation of accounts receivable
• Preparing reports on accounts receivable status for senior management

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Collections is a plus but not essential
• Fluent in English and one of the specified languages (both written and spoken)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good with numbers
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
