Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a proactive Credit Controller in Handforth/Wilmslow to own the sales ledger and credit control within a busy, growing organisation.

You will work closely with Finance, Sales, Administration and Operational teams to ensure timely payments, maintain accurate records and support month-end processes. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems, plus a professional telephone manner, are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable in a medium-sized business.
• Strong Excel and finance system skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional and confident telephone manner with good negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and ensure timely payment.
• Proactively chase overdue debts by phone and email.
• Raise invoices and import data into the finance system.
• Reconcile payments and banking transactions.
• Support month-end reporting and related duties.
