  • Actively chase overdue Customer Accounts via letter and telephone.
  • Liaise with Account Managers to assist in debt collection.
  • Promote Direct Debit conversion on calls.
  • Resolve customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Work with other departments to ensure high Customer Service levels.

Job Description

We are seeking a Part Time Credit Controller to join a well-established and dynamic Credit team.

As a Credit Controller you will be part of a very successful and motivated team. Your key objectives will be to deliver against cash collection, aged debt reduction and improve external debt collection; whilst maintaining high customer service standards.

Hours of Work:Monday - Friday 10:00am to 2:00pm (20 hours)
Salary: £23,809.50 pro rata (Opportunity to earn up to an additional £200 if team achieve targets)

Location: Nelson

Responsibilities

  • Actively chase overdue Customer Accounts via letter and telephone.
  • Liaise and work with Account Managers where required, to assist in the collection of debt.
  • Promote Direct Debit conversion on all calls.
  • Ensure that all customer queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Work effectively with other departments and sites to ensure highest levels of Customer Service are given at all times.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written, verbal and numerical skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Pro-active attitude to account management
  • Excellent follow-up skills and a positive attitude at all times
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and also part of a team, in a dynamic and fast paced environment
