Credit Controller - Up to 30,000 Oldham Full-Time

We're working with a well-established and reputable business based in Oldham who are looking to add a confident and experienced Credit Controller to their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in credit control to join a supportive finance department and make a real impact.

The Role: As Credit Controller, you'll take ownership of the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You'll be a key part of the finance team, helping to manage cash flow and reduce aged debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers

  • Resolving queries and disputes promptly and professionally

  • Allocating payments and reconciling accounts

  • Preparing reports for management on aged debt and collection performance

  • Working closely with internal departments to resolve account issues

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience in a credit control role

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
