Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join its high-performing Credit Control team in Manchester. The role focuses on cash collection, debtor management, and delivering excellent client service while reducing debtor days.

You will manage a portfolio of client accounts, monitor receipts, resolve invoicing queries, and produce monthly statements. The position offers a discretionary bonus, hybrid working and investment in learning and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control within a large organisation.
• Target-driven with a strong focus on results.
• Ability to work independently while managing competing deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both over the phone and via email.

Responsibilities

• Achieving monthly cash collection targets through proactive and overdue credit control.
• Monitoring daily cash receipts to ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting information.
• Liaising with internal colleagues to resolve invoicing and billing queries efficiently.
• Processing credit notes once appropriate authorisation has been obtained.
• Delivering excellent client service across all interactions.
• Providing monthly statements to clients.
• Reconciling client accounts covering billed and unbilled debt, using Excel to highlight balances and queries.
