Description

The Credit Controller (Hybrid) duties will include:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring payments are collected on time.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Approve sales orders where over credit limit or on stop, considering credit limits and customer history.
  • Build and maintain good customer relations, ensuring a strong customer focus.
  • Set appropriate credit limits based on credit reports and customer history and review these regularly.
  • Prepare and distribute account statements and reports to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and payment histories.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
  • Handle queries related to invoices and payments professionally.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc duties as required.
Profile

The ideal Credit Controller (Hybrid) should have the following experience/qualities:

  • Demonstrable experience in credit control (preferably around 5 years or more)
  • Previous experience in setting credit limits
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience with customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa is preferable but not required
  • A foreign European language (German, Spanish, Italian) is preferable but not required
