SThree is recruiting a talented Credit Controller DACH to join our team.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely invoice payments by applying collection activities in line with current processes and protocols.
This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to resolve client disputes and stakeholder queries effectively. The credit controller should demonstrate effective communication at all levels, regularly review their portfolio with regional partners, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve challenges and enhance customer experience.

What are the day-to-day tasks?
- Manage client accounts to ensure prompt payments
- Prioritize communication through all available channels, especially telephone
- Build relationships with stakeholders to resolve queries and drive payments
- Provide a best-in-class client experience
- Achieve monthly debt, cash collection, and DSO targets
- Produce monthly customer statements
- Collaborate with Sales Ledger, Placement Support, and Billing to maintain accurate records
- Participate in ledger reviews with Credit Control Manager/Team Leader
- Escalate accounts to Legal or Trade Debt Partners when appropriate
- Maintain accurate records in SAP
- Ensure financial compliance and adherence to SThree processes
- Support ad hoc initiatives led by the Credit Control Team Lead
Skills and knowledge required
- Fluent German speaker and writer
- Extensive collections experience, preferably in B2B
- Good knowledge of O2C processes
- Understanding of credit risk principles
- Experience managing high-volume ledgers
- Proficiency in SAP
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
