Credit Controller - Up to £30,000 | Bradford | Full-Time

We're working with a well-established and reputable business based in Bradford who are looking to add a confident and experienced Credit Controller to their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in credit control to join a supportive finance department and make a real impact.

The Role: As Credit Controller, you'll take ownership of the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You'll be a key part of the finance team, helping to manage cash flow and reduce aged debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  3. Resolving queries and disputes promptly and professionally
  4. Allocating payments and reconciling accounts
  5. Preparing reports for management on aged debt and collection performance
  6. Working closely with internal departments to resolve account issues

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  1. Proven experience in a credit control role
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  3. High attention to detail and accuracy
  4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts
  5. A proactive and positive attitude

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
