AR & Credit Control main responsibilities:

3. Liaising with Warehouse to ensure monthly storage invoices are sent out correctly
4. Raising any monthly invoices for the company
5. Running non-invoicing reports from FileMaker weekly to check for any invoices not raised by error
6. Running revenue reports from FileMaker and Sage 200 weekly to reconcile figures

Bank Reconciliation

• Bookkeeping sales receipts into Sage 200 and updating this information into FileMaker
• Maintaining job status in FileMaker
• Requesting remittance advice to allocate sales receipts correctly to related invoices
• Reconciling Euro, Dollar, and Sterling bank accounts daily
• Monitoring and posting Sage Pay and PayPal transactions

Credit Control

• Collecting payments of invoices per the agreed payment terms
• Responding to customer invoice queries and resolving issues
• Sending statements to customers regularly
• Maintaining weekly aged debtors report with customer feedback
• Highlighting potential bad payers
• Working with the Legal team on debt recovery processes
• Also handling AP responsibilities when the current AP person is on annual leave

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a recent 1st or 2nd jobber with up to 2 years of experience in an accounting/finance role with a drive to progress and learn more, OR an energetic and experienced AR Clerk open to change and learning new processing methods.

What you'll get in return
