Job description

Totum are working with an international law firm on an opportunity for a Credit Control Administrator. This fully remote role is a great next step for someone with some credit control or finance admin experience who’s looking to grow their career. You’ll be supporting an experienced team, working closely with finance colleagues across several jurisdictions, and gaining valuable exposure to both international credit control and e-billing. You’ll be home-based and report into a UK-based manager.

The ideal Credit Control Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Allocating client receipts
  • Investigating and resolving first-line payment queries
  • Escalating more complex queries internally
  • Sourcing and updating bill payer contact details and dispatch dates
  • Updating codes and notes on the credit collections system
  • Preparing and distributing ad hoc reports
  • Supporting e-billing by checking status flags and reporting issues
  • Assisting with rejected e-bills
  • Providing admin support to senior credit controllers
  • Liaising with finance, legal, and operations teams internationally
  • Credit collection activity on key ledgers

The ideal Credit Controller Administrator will have:

  • Some experience in a legal or professional services environment
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management
  • Confident using finance systems and keeping accurate records
  • Clear communicator, comfortable working with various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable systems would be a plus
