Managing Director at Fame Recruitment Consultants

A leading finance group located in North London are recruiting for a Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant to join their busy accounts team. This position will mainly be focused on credit control with some accounts involved.

Candidates applying should have previous experience in credit control with basic accounts exposure to be considered for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Financial Controller
• Assist Financial Controller with general accounting aspects including Cash Book, Work-in-Progress records and Purchase Invoices.
• Carry out all credit control procedures to ensure timely recovery of customers’ debts.
• Provide regular updates to the Office Manager and Financial Controller regarding recovery progress of any overdue debts.
• Maintain accurate Sales Ledger records in respect of new customers
• Ensure that all sales invoices are raised accurately
• Prepare regular payments runs for settlement of suppliers’ accounts.
• Deal with any queries from customers and suppliers

Key Requirements:

• Strong IT skills and use of accountancy software such as Sage/Xero
• A relevant accounting qualification, such as AAT, is desirable.

This is a lovely opportunity for a Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant to join a successful and established company. Please note that this position is fully office-based Monday-Friday.
