This is an outstanding opportunity to join an ambitious company with exciting growth plans. They take a forward-thinking approach to work, offering flexibility around hours and the option for remote working-reflecting their modern outlook and commitment to a progressive work culture.
Your new role
Joining the existing team, the successful candidate will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

  • Proactively monitoring and managing customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Performing regular account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies promptly
  • Contacting clients regarding overdue payments through phone, email, and written communication
  • Producing aged debt reports and identifying key risk areas for escalation
  • Collaborating with internal departments to resolve invoice queries and disputes
  • Supporting credit checking processes and assisting with the setup of new customer accounts
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you'll bring proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable (AR) functions, alongside strong organisational and time management skills. Your ability to communicate clearly and negotiate effectively will be key, as will your proficiency in Microsoft Excel. You'll have a sharp eye for detail, thrive when working independently, and bring a positive, customer-focused approach to everything you do.

The company is committed to offering a highly flexible working arrangement, with the option to work either 3 or 4 days per week, along with adaptable working hours to suit your lifestyle.
Following an initial training and onboarding period, you'll have the autonomy to work independently, with the added benefit of remote working-requiring only minimal time in the office. This role is ideal for someone seeking a better work-life balance without compromising on professional development.
