Alexander Dennis is seeking a Credit Controller for a 12‑month fixed term contract based in Skelmersdale. You will manage a large portfolio of customer accounts, drive timely payments, and resolve queries to support our aftermarket finance team.
In this role you will work closely with internal stakeholders, use ERP systems and Excel to maintain accurate records, and contribute to process improvements while delivering excellent customer service.

As a Credit Controller, you'll be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts across a large portfolio of customer accounts within our Aftermarket business. You'll work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries, maintain strong relationships, and ensure timely payments. Alongside core collections activity, you'll support wider Accounts Receivable processes, helping to maintain accurate financial records, improve processes, and contribute to the overall performance of the team.
We're looking for an experienced Credit Controller who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. You'll be confident managing large account portfolios, resolving queries, and influencing customers to achieve positive outcomes. With strong analytical skills and attention to detail, you'll be comfortable working with financial systems and Excel while maintaining a proactive, customer‑focused approach. A self‑starter with excellent communication skills, you'll be able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
