A client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting a Credit Controller to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying up to £27,000 per annum depending on experience.

Reporting to the Finance Director, key duties include but are not limited to:

• Debt collection via phone, email and letter
• Responsibility of new account opening procedure
• Completing relevant journals in ERP system
• Create and distribute Aged Debt Reports
• Complete monthly statements for all customers
• Conducting regular credit checks on all customers
• Resolving problems in relation to invoicing and payments
• Reconciling month-end accounts ensuring all cash receipts are allocated correctly.
• Report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems
• Daily banking including taking credit card payments.
• Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting to Management
• Any other duties as required.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Credit Controller position:

• Previous credit control or accountancy experience
• Experience in chasing/managing outstanding commercial payments
• Proficient within the Microsoft packages, specifically Excel.
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
