Job summary

Savills Limited is seeking an organised Credit Control assistant to support the current function. The role involves daily review of outstanding debt, contacting tenants by telephone or email, and updating system notes to reflect progress.

You will liaise with Savills and client property managers to obtain information on any special circumstances, and work closely with department bookkeepers to ensure records are accurate and up-to-date. Flexibility with duties is expected.

Job description

We are seeking an organised individual to support the current Credit Control function. The role varies from typical industry positions, being more personal in nature and a third party service provided on behalf of our Landlord clients. Duties to include:

• Daily review of outstanding debt and subsequent credit control procedures for a range of clients. This will include contacting tenants by telephone or e-mail, follow-up letters and updating system notes.
• Liaising with Savills and client property managers to keep them informed and acquire information regarding any special circumstances.
• Working closely with department bookkeepers to ensure records are up-to-date.
• In addition to the tasks described above, you may be required to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time.
• The Savills Client Accounting team provides financial services direct to clients, as well as in support of other professional and management services provided by Savills across the residential and mixed commercial property sectors.
