The Package

Salary: £24,000 – £25,000 (depending on experience)
Holiday: 30 days including bank holidays, rising to 33 after 12 months

Your Day-to-Day
As part of our busy credit control team, you’ll help manage client accounts across the country to ensure timely payments and maintain healthy ledgers. Your responsibilities will include:

Processing daily banking and incoming cheques
Allocating payments to customer accounts
Chasing outstanding payments by phone, email, and letter
Managing your own customer ledger portfolio
Investigating and resolving invoice queries and disputes
Conducting credit checks on new and existing clients
Liaising with colleagues across our 80+ UK branches, including senior management

Who We’re Looking For
While previous experience in Credit Control is preferred, it’s not essential. If you're organised, confident, and comfortable working to deadlines, we’d love to hear from you! The ideal candidate will also have:

A good working knowledge of Excel
Experience in a finance-related role
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
Up to 37.5 hours per week
9:00am – 5:00pm (with a 30-minute lunch break)
