Responsibilities

  • Follow end-to-end credit control process including booking cash and issuing invoices.
  • Maintain and update client accounts with BACS statements and remittance advices.
  • Issue computerized statements to customers and internal departments.
  • Monitor Credit Hold orders and release accordingly for UK & US ledgers.
  • Update computerized cashbook for UK & US payments.
  • Provide copy invoices and reports for Sales Department and clients as required.

Credit Controller

Location: Office, Avonmouth/Filton

Description

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our growing finance function. This is an entry level position, reporting to our Credit Manager and working alongside who other Credit Controllers. Within this role you will follow end-to-end credit control process ensuring accurate books and records and a positive customer experience. You will have an opportunity to support large scale accounts as well as smaller ones, giving you variety in your workload. We are looking for someone with a true passion for numbers who wants to grow their career in finance!

This is role based in our Avonmouth offices. This is a hybrid position, meaning we work three days in office and two days from home. This is a permanent and full time position, 37.5 hours per week with flexible working hours available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow end to end credit control process including (but not limited to) booking cash, issuing invoices, raising credit notes, reconciling accounts and chasing debt
  • To maintain and update client accounts with BACS statements, remittance advices and credit card receipts
  • Issue computerised statements to customers and other internal departments when required
  • To update AR Module on D365 with any details pertaining to a customer’s A/C
  • To monitor Credit Hold orders and release accordingly on a daily basis for UK & US ledgers
  • Update computerised cashbook and post to the system on a daily basis for UK & US payments
  • Provide copy invoices and reports for Sales Department and clients as required
  • Issue month end invoicing
  • Assist in collating month end statements
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Experience within an administrative position
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good level of computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Accurate data inputting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including good telephone manner
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Any Credit Control or Sales Ledger is helpful
  • Any experience of financial systems is also helpful
