About Our Client

My client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the accountancy team needs further support.

Job Description

• Reconcile accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute statements and invoices to clients.
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve account-related queries.
• Implement strategies to minimise outstanding debts.
• Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
• Provide reports on aged debt and payment trends to management.
• Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc tasks as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
