This is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the credit control team’s objectives and participate in the continuous improvement of the team’s administration and processes. Reporting directly to the Credit Manager, the role involves monitoring, chasing, and controlling a portion of the Sales Ledger while maintaining strong customer and colleague relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  1. End-to-end Credit Control chasing via telephone, email, and letter in line with the Credit Control Chase process, in a high-volume environment, to meet individual and team targets.
  2. Collaborating with the invoicing team and Regional Managers to resolve disputes that may delay payments.
  3. Recording Chase Information on SAGE Accounts and Credit Control Spreadsheets.
  4. Sending Final Demand notices to delinquent clients when necessary.
  5. Monthly reporting to Regions and the Credit Manager on debtor levels and overdue accounts.
  6. Preparing files for escalation to the company solicitor when required.
