Job summary

Axon Moore is seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a Bradford-based finance team. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, drive collections and protect cash flow while delivering a professional customer experience.

The role offers exposure to automation and AI-led improvements, with a Monday–Friday, 37.5-hour week and a permanent contract. A solid attention to detail and relationship-building are essential to succeed.

• Ensure outstanding payments are followed up promptly and effectively.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and minimise payment delays.
• Analyse aged debt, collection performance and debtor trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support credit risk management and contribute to achieving collection targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and ways of working.
• Get involved in the implementation of automation, AI and other technology-led improvements within the credit control function.

We're working with a fantastic organisation that is looking to appoint a Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their accounts, building strong customer relationships and using data to drive improvements.

The Opportunity

You'll be responsible for managing customer accounts and collections activity, helping to maintain strong cash flow while ensuring a positive and professional customer experience.

The role will also give you the opportunity to get involved in continuous improvement, including the introduction of automation and AI tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
