The Role:
PIB Group are on the look out for a passionate individual who is committed to delivering excellent customer service.
The role of the Credit Controller is a key position within the first line of defence for the organisation. Hence, the successful candidate will be acting as the safety net for the business from an operational and regulatory perspective.
This role is a 6 month fixed term contract - 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining & Reducing Monthly Aged Debt for the group
  • Chasing clients/brokers for settlement of debt to ensure collected within credit terms
  • Ability to manage your own diary and workload effectively
  • Ensure statements are sent in a timely manner
  • Liaising with customers by telephone and email and be sure to follow up to resolve debts on the ledger
  • Build strategic relationships across the organisation and effectively communicate with various stakeholders at multiple seniority levels.
  • Escalation of any issues and queries in a timely basis to team leader/manager.
  • Assisting with audit queries
  • Carry out administrative duties such as email inbox and queries
  • Ad Hoc Duties as and when required

The Candidate
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced credit control department(Desirable but not essential)
  • Effective communication including written and verbal.
  • MS Office suit including MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Word.
  • Uphold a high level of resilience to adapt to constant business growth.
  • Deliver required tasks accurately and on time whilst working under pressure.
  • Have a positive can do attitude with natural problem-solving abilities that are accompanied with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong organization & time management skills
  • Be able to work as part of a team collaboratively as well as on your own initiative
